Stephen Sheldon - La Palette: The Chicago Palette

La Palette : The Chicago Palette features a select handful of intimate photographic portraits of the painters palettes of prominent Chicago-based contemporary artists taken by Dr. Stephen Sheldon over the course of five years. Displayed alongside a finished work by each artist and a representative palette, his unique perspective reveals new insights into the working methods and creative process of his subjects, transforming their tools of the trade into artworks in their right.

Dr. Stephen Sheldon is a Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Northwestern University and Director of the Sleep Medicine Center at Lurie Children’s Hospital. He also holds a Certificate of Graduation in Professional Photography from the New York Institute of Photography.
