Education Programs

The Ed Paschke Art Center hosts a variety of programs for students, teachers, academics, and the community at large.

We provide fine art accessible to the public through lectures, field trips, and docent led tours.

Ed Paschke’s work provides a unique and engaging model for individuals that maintains a relevant link to the emerging present. People continue to be interested in and influenced by the art he created, his experimentation with diverse media and disciplines are all vital models of creativity.

Examples of Educational Collaboration

EPAC collaborated with Chicago Public High School students from Rowe Clark Math & Science Academy on the West Side to create and exhibit self-portraits inspired by the work of Ed Paschke. Student’s art was on view during the grand opening of the art center.

EPAC has an ongoing commitment to working with New Horizon Center for Children & Adults with Developmental Disabilities & Autism. Members of the New Horizon Center community have visited EPAC for tours and art making activities, working to create a mosaic mural that reproduces Ed Paschke’s painting Americani.

EPAC has welcomed hundreds of students of all ages from Chicago Public Schools, local private schools, Chicago Park District camps, and in and out of state colleges and universities through the art center for tours.
